The LFA sent a report to Langara’s Board of Governors to provide more detail about our calls for new leadership and increased Board engagement as enrolments continue to fall.
We want our Board to understand that we are deeply concerned about 2026, as we continue to lose institutional knowledge through staff and faculty layoffs, and as course offerings and student services decline. We are calling for urgent action: a new president and a Task Force created by the Board to ensure that Langara can emerge stronger in 2027, despite the challenges ahead.
