As we are all aware, in large part due to the direct impact at Langara, federal government changes to international student policies implemented in the past year have changed the post-secondary landscape significantly. There have been many letters written, interviews held, and articles published addressing various dimensions of these changes including the general impact, the problems for institutions and students, as well as calling for more productive action. For those who are interested, I (C.G.) have endeavored to compile some items here for easy access, and will continue to add to this list. The following links include interviews with Pauline Greaves, LFA president, magazine and newspaper articles, commentary from the CBC, and some perspectives from FPSE, CAUT, and other post-secondary institutions in B.C. and across Canada. Thanks to Stephanie Koonar, who has been forwarding relevant publications to the LFA board.
