• ELT = Executive Leadership Team (Langara College President, Vice-Presidents and Associate Vice-Presidents)

• FES = Faculty Evaluation Summary form
• FPSE = Federation of Post Secondary Educators of BC
• FTE = full time equivalent – used to describe faculty, work, and students
• LCAA = Langara College Administrators Association – not a union but represents administrators such as Deans and Directors
• LFA = Langara Faculty Association
• LTD = Long Term Disability
• NID = Non-Instructional Duty
• P+C = People and Culture – includes HR and payroll departments
• PBC = Pacific Blue Cross
• PD = Professional development
• PDSF = Professional Development Support Fund
• SLT (discontinued) = Senior Leadership Team – name of the ELT prior to 2023
• SRI = Student Reaction to Instruction survey form
• STD = Short Term Disability
• Workday = enterprise software used to manage payroll, contracts, leaves, vacations, finance and accounting.
