FPSE letter to AEST on Safe Campus Decisions

With support from the LFA, on August 12 the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC (FPSE) sent a letter to the Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Training (AEST) expressing concerns about safe fall return to campus. In particular, FPSE expressed concerns about the one-size-fits-all approach outlined in the COVID-19 Return to Campus Guidelines issued by AEST on July 5, which limits the ability of post-secondary institutions to provide safe working and learning environments.

With 19 member locals, FPSE is a federation of independent unions representing over 10,000 faculty and staff at colleges and teaching universities across BC. The LFA is local 14 of FPSE.
